3 realistic fiction
1 historical fiction
3 fantasy
1 science fiction
1 mystery
2 informational
1 biography, autobiography, memoir 
4 chapter books of your choice

This works out to be FIVE books a quarter!!!!

Students also need to complete TWO reader response journals for each book that they read.  One journal halfway through the book and the other when they are finished.
